Job summary

Link Rehab and Wellness in New Jersey is seeking a Lead PTA to oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the therapy team at an assisted living facility.

You will develop caseloads, supervise staff, establish treatment programs, and ensure documentation aligns with CMS guidelines while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or university.
• Valid professional state license and registration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
• The ability to inspire and lead a team, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
• In-depth knowledge of patient care assessment and treatment techniques.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Caseload development for all disciplines (OT/PT/ST).
• Providing staff oversight, staff scheduling, patient scheduling, and coverage.
• Creating and maintaining relationships with center management.
• Upholding the highest level of integrity and ethics by the therapy team.
• Retrieving doctor orders as requested by DOR.
• Completing evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation per CMS guidelines.
• Establishing and administering patient treatment programs under physician direction.
• Collaborating with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered care.
• Adhering to scheduled hours.
• Demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Link Rehab and Wellness is looking to hire a passionateLead PTA, interested in working at an assisted living facility. The Lead Therapist is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the therapy team onsite. Responsibilities:

• Caseload development for all disciplines (OT/PT/ST)
• Supporting therapy staff (provide staff oversight, staff scheduling, patient scheduling, coverage)
• Creating and maintaining relationships with center management
• Ensuring highest level of integrity and ethics are upheld by therapy team
• Assist with retrieving scripts/doctor’s orders as requested by DOR
• Complete evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner and in accordance to CMS guidelines and as allowed by license
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician and allowed by license
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
• Adhere to scheduled hours
• Demonstrate professionalism at all times
