Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time phlebotomist to join our front-line team. You will perform venipuncture for patients of all ages, collect and prepare specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and test orders, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to privacy and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record in past 3 years.
• Phlebotomy training or hands-on experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Phlebotomy Supervisor with departmental goals and objectives, including training and monitoring staff.
• Travel to multiple phlebotomy worksite locations as needed.
• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous phlebotomy training or experience


• Excellent communication skills

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
