Responsibilities

• Assess workload volume daily and adjust staffing to meet goals.
• Identify duplication of efforts and streamline processes to reduce waste and improve patient care.
• Organize and assist the pharmacy technician team to ensure tasks are timely and accurate.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance and operation of pharmacy area equipment and automation.
• Promote harmonious relationships within the work environment and support team needs.
• Assist in training and orientating new and existing pharmacy technicians and students on policy and procedures.
• Develop training schedules and maintain documentation for all technicians and students.
• Guide, train, and provide technical direction of all pharmacy non-pharmacist staff and volunteers.
• Evaluate pharmacy activities to help management meet short- and long-range objectives and goals.
• May be responsible for scheduling, time-and-attendance processing, and quality assurance tasks.
• Serve as online backup to other technicians; Work schedule 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating weekends; Telework: Not Available; This is not a virtual position.
