The role requires compliance with state and federal regulations, attention to quality assurance, and delivering excellent customer service in a busy community pharmacy. HS diploma required; Vermont tech registration preferred.
Scope Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department. Responsible for assisting the supervising pharmacist with the training and development of staff, assigning tasks to ensure workload is balanced and completed. Ensures consistent application of organizational policies.
Job Su Summary: Assist the professional staff in the triaging, processing and delivery of prescriptions to the patient. Assist in the management of the Pharmacy Inventory and Third Party Receivables. Assists in the hiring and training of new employees. Assists the pharmacist in proper inventory management.
