Job summary

ShopRite of Lacey in Lanoka Harbor, NJ is seeking a Pharmacist. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience while accurately dispensing medications and ensuring safe, effective patient care. Immunization administration and MTM tasks may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess current unrestricted state Pharmacist license or registration in state of employment.
• Must possess applicable graduate degrees.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Ability to work with computer systems and pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service with accurate prescription information.
• Maintain current pharmacological knowledge through ongoing education.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and HIPAA.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and security.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor drug therapies and provide patient counseling and disease state management as appropriate.
• Promote medication adherence and support MTM activities.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and ensure staffing to meet demand.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
