Guardian Pharmacy of Northern Michigan, a Guardian family member, seeks a highly motivated pharmacist to supervise staff and oversee daily production in Gaylord, MI. You will ensure timely dispensing and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the team, you will participate in interviews, hiring, and training, while collaborating with the Director, Pharmacy Operations to resolve production and compliance issues and support growth of the new location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD. required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 5+ years pharmacist experience preferred, preferably in high-volume pharmacy.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent computer skills, including pharmacy operations system knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Supervises the Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and manages daily production to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensures workflow processes and staffing support accurate and timely prescription dispensing.
• Fully competent and able to perform Staff Pharmacist responsibilities; work as a scheduled pharmacist on the floor at least 75% of the time.
• Communicates regularly with the Director, Pharmacy Operations regarding issues affecting production, safety, or compliance.
• Ensures that pharmacy processes and record keeping systems are in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Oversees hiring/training of new pharmacists.
