Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen seeks a Lead Pharmacist to join the Onalaska Infusion Pharmacy leadership team. You will serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensure Wisconsin Board of Pharmacy compliance, and rotate across La Crosse, WI metro area, or Winona, MN as licensed.

This role emphasizes clinical leadership, program integrity, and high-quality patient care. You will oversee clinical decisions within the specialty program, develop staff training, and collaborate with directors to maintain

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Wisconsin Pharmacist license (required).
• Minnesota Pharmacist license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure accreditation standards are met.
• Develop and review training for pharmacy staff related to your area.
• Maintain clear communication with pharmacists and other stakeholders to ensure quality service.
• Function as the senior clinical staff person for GHS specialty services.
• Maintain oversight of clinical decision-making aspects of the specialty program.
• Lead transitions of care initiatives and develop projects with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient continuity across the Gundersen Health System.
• Support operations, regulatory, compounding, specialty, and transitions of care functions as assigned.
