The PETCT Technologist Lead serves as a clinical expert for the assigned territory, acting as the primary trainer for new hires and performing scanning responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing clinical scans
  • Training new hires and conducting ongoing reviews on clinical competencies
  • Assisting with day-to-day operational issues
  • Collaborating with team and clients on protocol development and review to ensure radiation safety compliance

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine or Positron Emission Tomography by the NMTCB or Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT
  • State license, if applicable
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver's license, if applicable
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a medical diagnostics technologist
  • Ability to work across multiple locations
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Local travel may be required
  • COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screening required

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve exposure to outdoor weather, radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, blood and body fluids, and infectious diseases. More than 50% of the time involves sitting, standing, walking, repetitive movements, and communication; less than 50% involves stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and transferring patients.
