Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Lead Perinatal Sonographer to organize daily patient work schedules and oversee sonographer workflow, ensuring timely appointments and smooth operations in the obstetric imaging service.
The role includes staff planning, accreditation readiness, teaching, equipment training, and monitoring performance, with a strong emphasis on communication, quality control, and problem solving to support excellent patient care.

Organizes daily patient work schedule and corresponding sonographer workflow.
Oversees adherence of timeliness of patient schedules.
Keeps manager and supervisor informed of any issues that occur.
Employees in this job must be competent to provide patient care to the following age groups: Neonatal:Birth to 6 months, Young adult: 16-30 years, Middle Age: 30 - 60 years.
Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermittent breaks during the work day do not compromise the work. Work is varied every day and the employee needs to be adaptable to respond to these changes and use independent judgment and manage priorities.

Pay Range: $52.92 - $78.64
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
