Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE seeks a full-time Neuroimmunologist to lead pediatric neuroimmunology services. The role emphasizes clinical care, teaching residents and fellows, and participating in interdisciplinary neurology clinics across the department.

Eligible candidates hold pediatric neurology training, board certification with possible PDE/Neurology certification, and academic credentials suitable for a faculty appointment; DEA/licensure in Delaware is required.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Residency Program and a Neurology Fellowship Program.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Medicine and Board Eligibility/ Certification in Neurology.
• Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware.
• An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call coverage as part of the service team.
• Serve as attending physician during designated weeks.
• Conduct regular specialty clinics in addition to a share in general neurology clinics.
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students with emphasis on your specialty area.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities.
