Job summary

Custom Microwave Inc., A Vitesse Company, is seeking a Payload Systems Engineer to lead a team of engineers in designing state-of-the-art satellite payload solutions. You will drive trade studies, requirements allocation, and verification activities to meet customer missions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design teams, handling ITAR compliance, and delivering design gate materials, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities in a fast-growing aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• MS/E.E.E. preferred but not required.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency for ITAR compliance.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Exemption from overtime; exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural trade studies and set system/unit requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to meet project objectives.
• Lead requirements allocation, traceability and verification.
• Support verification and I&T activities for the program.
• Prepare and deliver design gate materials.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop allocation, analysis and verification artifacts.
