Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Principal Pathologist to advance innovative medicines from discovery through development. You will provide critical pathology expertise across the drug development continuum and lead pathology reviews for toxicology studies, partnering with researchers on diverse modalities including gene therapies and large molecules.

The role is based on-site in Tarrytown, NY, four days per week, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team in Regeneron’s Drug

Qualifications

• DVM or PhD in Pathology is required.
• Board certification in veterinary anatomic pathology (DACVP or DECVP) is required.
• Experience at a contract research organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical pathology expertise across the drug development continuum.
• Serve as the study pathologist for in-house discovery studies and produce high-quality pathology reports.
• Provide pathology peer review for Regeneron toxicology studies conducted at contract research organizations.
• Leverage digital image analysis to strengthen study interpretation where appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of an in-house digital pathology program.
• Present scientific contributions in internal and external forums supporting regulatory and discovery programs.
• Contribute to scientific publications and abstracts.
• Stay connected with the toxicologic pathology community through seminars and conferences.
