Qualifications

• Spiritual Testimony: clear personal faith in Jesus Christ and an active walk with the Lord.
• Biblical Standards: character and integrity aligned with 1 Timothy 3:1–7, Titus 1:5–9, Galatians 5:22–26.
• Doctrinal Alignment: full affirmation of the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) and church bylaws.
• Ordination: ordained Southern Baptist minister or aligned with SBC faith and practice.
• Practical Ministry Experience: proven pastoral fruitfulness and leadership; formal education optional.
• Gifting & Character: strong preaching, teaching, leadership, pastoral care, and relational skills.

Responsabilités

• Worship & Preaching: study, prepare, and preach the Word; lead corporate worship; administer Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
• Evangelism & Missions: foster outreach, personal evangelism, and local/cooperative missions involvement.
• Discipleship & Equipping: oversee spiritual growth and equip believers for maturity and service.
• Prayer: model and cultivate corporate prayer opportunities.
• Ministry & Service: mobilize members to use spiritual gifts within the church and community.
• Fellowship & Community: promote unity and regular fellowship across the church family.
• Pastoral Care & Counseling: provide spiritual guidance, visit the sick, weddings and funerals as needed.
• Vision & Strategic Direction: cast vision and guide ministry goals in Coffeyville and surrounding areas.
• Staff & Ministry Oversight: supervise staff and collaborate with ministry leaders.
• Church Governance: participate in church conferences and maintain clear communication.
