Long Hill Chapel in New Jersey is seeking a Christ-centered Lead Pastor to shepherd a healthy, stable congregation and guide it into its next season of discipleship and Kingdom impact.

The Lead Pastor will preach, teach, and develop leaders, partnering with Elders and staff while cultivating healthy rhythms, strong worship, and missional engagement in the church’s surrounding community.

Qualifications

• Clear calling to pastoral ministry demonstrated by humility, prayer, and Word-centered living.
• Agreement with C&MA doctrine, mission, and Great Commission emphasis.
• Pastoral experience leading worship, discipleship, and staff or ministry teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in ministry-related field; ongoing education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preach and teach God's Word with pastoral care and biblical encouragement.
• Shepherd the church, prayerfully guiding care, discipleship and community life.
• Deepen relational discipleship; strengthen small groups and leader multiplication.
• Provide vision and oversight for ministries aligning with church goals.
• Develop staff and ministry leaders; empower lay leaders for service.
• Lead Elder Board collaboration, governance, and strategic prioritization.
• Mobilize the congregation for evangelism, mission, and community engagement.
