Job summary

Grant CRC in rural West Michigan is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to shepherd and equip our multi-generational congregation of about 150 in worship. We value biblical preaching, meaningful worship, discipleship, missions, and authentic Christian community.

The Lead Pastor will provide spiritual leadership with the Council and staff, shepherd via pastoral care and counseling, administer the sacraments, and equip members for ministry while engaging local outreach and community partnerships.

The Opportunity

Grant Christian Reformed Church is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to shepherd and equip our congregation as we pursue our mission. We are a multi-generational Christian Reformed congregation averaging approximately 150 in worship attendance, with a strong presence of young families, children, and active volunteers. Located in rural West Michigan near Grand Rapids, we are committed to biblical preaching, meaningful worship, discipleship, missions, and authentic Christian community.

Primary Responsibilities

• Proclaim God's Word through Christ-centered, biblically faithful preaching.


• Provide spiritual leadership and vision in partnership with the Council and church staff.


• Shepherd the congregation through pastoral care, visitation, counseling, and prayer.


• Administer the sacraments and support the church's discipleship ministries.


• Equip members for ministry and encourage the development of future leaders.


• Engage the community through outreach, relationships, and local ministry partnerships.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation and benefits are competitive and based on CRC standards, including housing through a parsonage, pension, insurance, continuing education, vacation, and sabbatical provisions.
