Job summary

T E C Industrial Inc in Miami is seeking an Operations Lead to partner with the Co-Manager(s) and General Manager (GM) to deliver a premium customer experience. You will oversee daily store operations, including inventory processing, merchandising, and staff coordination, while maintaining high standards.

As a part-time, non-exempt role, you will train Inventory Associates, manage cycles, and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising training, quality and customer service in retail.

  • Provide a friendly and warm welcome to all customers.
  • Drive loyalty program and customer-first culture through clear communication and product knowledge.
  • Measure and follow up with managers and employees on customer experience and KPI’s.
  • Work with GM and Co-Managers to set sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Review KPI results and apply learnings to drive sales volume.
  • Support inventory management including receiving, counting, and documenting deliveries.
  • Train and supervise Inventory Associates and monitor inventory levels and expiry dates.

Description

Purpose

The Lead is responsible for leading the team in partnership with the Co-Manager(s) and General Manager (GM).

Directly execute TRP world class customer experience with the Budtenders through supporting clear goals, comprehensive product knowledge, maintaining high visual presentation standards and driving repeat business through the TRP loyalty program. Goal is to deliver the TRP customer experience to each and every customer and patient.

Additionally, the lead is responsible for day to day oversight of all store inventory management and processing. In addition to day-to-day processor tasks, Operation Leads take on leadership responsibilities relevant to their skillset and location needs.

  • Execute TRP customer first culture through thoughtful communication, comprehensive product knowledge and maintaining high visual presentation standards.
  • Drive repeat business through local grass roots networking and our loyalty program.
  • Continuously measure and follow up with all managers and employees on TRP customer experience and customer first culture by using appropriate tools such as online reviews, customer satisfaction surveys and key KPI’s.
  • Work closely with GM and Co-Managers to set clear sales volume and KPI goals.
  • Review and analyze KPI’s and apply knowledge/learnings to drive sales volume.
  • Help store team to implement all aspects of Visual Presentation including basic store standards, floor sets, ongoing merchandising and product launches.
  • Partner with GM and Hospitality Co-Manager on community outreach, press and in-store events.
  • Inventory management.
  • Receive, count, and document inventory deliveries
  • Perform weekly or biweekly inventory/cycle counts
  • Inform store managers of upcoming inventory needs
  • Merchandising and restocking
  • Clerical tasks including accurate filing, compiling, and maintaining inventory and records.
  • Adding newly available products to menu systems, including Weedmaps, Dutchie, Leafly, in-store menus etc.
  • Train and supervise Inventory Associates
  • Monitor expired product and identifying stagnant inventory
  • Place orders for processing room materials using company PO system
  • Maintain clean and organized processing room.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis
  • Passion for Cannabis Culture
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising training, quality and customer service in retail.
  • Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This person is directly responsible for managing the front and back of house teams.

This job operates in a professional store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time position. This position regularly requires varying days and hours and frequent weekend work.

This position may require travel.
