Job summary

  • U.S. citizenship or national status.
  • Ability to obtain a background investigation and pass required checks.
  • Must be able to wear a uniform and perform shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, manages and maintains a high quality visitor services program at the refuge.
  • Coordinates with refuge managers and partners to develop fishing and education programs.
  • Develops and implements interpretive and environmental education programs.
  • Administers the refuge's fee policies and special use permits.
  • Provides supervision and planning for subordinate staff, setting priorities and schedules.
