Job summary

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is seeking a Full-Time Paramedic to provide frontline patient transport and medical care in Tampa, FL. You will safely transport passengers with medical, physical, emotional, or developmental needs, employing established protocols and maintaining high-quality patient interactions.

You will operate life-support equipment, perform medication administration, document care via ePCR, and collaborate with facilities and teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess Florida Paramedic certification.
• Must possess Florida Class E driver’s license.
• Current AHA BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Successful completion of DOT physical, background screen and drug testing.
• EVOC training and certification within 14 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and patient care as the first point of contact during medical transport.
• Operates medical equipment and administers medications per protocol.
• Develops and uses triage skills to maintain efficiency on calls.
• Maintains radio communications and coordinates with receiving facilities.
• Completes electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCR) for billing and records.
