American Medical Response is hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers. Located in Winona, MS, this on-site role leads patient care on 911 responses and coordinates with medical teams.

As a Paramedic you will assess calls, operate defibrillators and monitors, drive the ambulance, and participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image. State licensure and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relationships.
