Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Lead Packer for the third shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am, Mon–Fri with occasional Saturdays) at our Hanover, PA facility. You will ensure overall package quality, inspect packaging and labeling, and manage changeovers with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will work with SAP data entry, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date. This is a full-time permanent role offering a shift premium and opportunities to grow within a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Must stay focused on a fast-paced conveyor line.
• Strong understanding of standard procedures and discipline to follow them.
• Excellent attention to detail when identifying words, numbers, and labels.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow production orders to ensure all requirements are met.
• Perform quality checks on packaging, labeling, and finished products using established standards.
• Inspect one case per pallet for assigned orders and pull the first bag of each order.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance issues to the Supervisor.
• Set up and organize materials and equipment at packing stations according to the Bill of Materials.
• Notify team members of upcoming changeovers.
• Create case labels, generate handling units, and enter order data into SAP.
• Ensure accurate completion and closeout of packing order documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area; participate in shutdown cleanings and 5S initiatives.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies and any issues affecting production to Supervisor.
