Job summary

Calbee America, Inc. in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the B Shift (2:45pm-11pm). You will operate and troubleshoot high-speed packaging machines, ensure correct film loading, and maintain settings to maximize production efficiency and product quality.

You will monitor materials, perform CCP/QC checks, and collaborate with QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues. Prior experience in food packaging and ability to train others are essential for success.

Qualifications

Experience operating high-speed packaging machinery or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on packaging machines and related equipment.
Load correct film per production schedule and maintain machine settings for quality.
Monitor materials and follow FIFO; record production and quality checks.
Collaborate with QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse to address issues impacting product integrity.
Lead and mentor new packers and operators; communicate shift needs to managers and teams.
