Job summary

Orthodontic Experts is seeking a Lead Orthodontic Assistant to support the orthodontist and a team of professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. You’ll prep patients, assist in chair-side procedures, take X-rays, sterilize equipment, and help with laboratory tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience, are organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic assisting experience (1 year preferred).
• Availability on Saturdays.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certificate of completion for Orthodontic Assistant Courses preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, stay organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish speaking helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments, including cleaning, X-Rays, and impressions.
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and adjust braces/appliances.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Manage patient records and update charts.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
• Travel to sister clinics as needed and support administrative tasks.
