Job summary

The Goddard School is hiring Lead or Assistant Infant Teachers at our Minneapolis location. You will coordinate daily class operations and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in a safe environment, while building strong relationships with children and their families.

We value early childhood education experience, strong communication, and teamwork. Our team-oriented setting includes support from directors and opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of previous experience with infant care required.
• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, or college credits meeting state licensing requirements.
• CDA credential preferred but not required.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred or college education credits that meet state licensing requirements. Preferred but not required
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of previous experience with infant care required
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
