Job summary

Eyemart Express in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a Lead Optical Retail Associate (Key Holder) for a full-time position. You will guide customers in selecting frames and lenses, ensure prescription accuracy, and dispense glasses while maintaining store operations and customer service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in retail or sales; optical-industry experience and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service or sales.
• Experience in optical industry is preferred.
• Leadership/management experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prescription specs for proper lens grinding.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses and coatings.
• Ensure lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription data.
• Dispense completed glasses and educate patients on care and maintenance.
• Support store operations by opening/closing as needed.
• Provide excellent service and stay informed about promotions, policies, and returns.
• Process payments using the in-store POS system.
• Perform administrative tasks including processing insurance claims and maintaining patient files.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and assist with stocking merchandise.
