Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Lead to support the Production Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor in all manufacturing processes at our Lebanon, TN facility. The role involves enforcing safety and quality policies, training new employees, and performing the same labor functions as the workers supervised to cover breaks and busy times.

Job Description

Compensation: $22.50 an hour - paid weekly + an additional $2 per hour hour as shift differential for nights

Shift Available: Days/Nights, 5:50am - 6:00pm OR 5:50pm to 6:00am, 2-2-3 Schedule

Job Summary:

The Lead assists the Production Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor in all manufacturing processes and procedures. Works in collaboration with employees, and management team to enforce safety and quality policies and procedures as dictated by company’s handbook. Responsible for assisting with training new employees. The Lead will perform same labor functions as the workers being supervised to allow employees to take breaks and when business conditions warrant it.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wraps and weight all production skids.
• Will assist with breaks, changeovers and screen changes.
• Works with production staff to ensure lines run without any issues.
• Works with production staff to ensure the quality of the product.
• Communicates with Maintenance Supervisor about equipment problems.
• Will perform other labor functions as needed.
• Operate forklift safely
• May perform other duties as assigned.
