Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Operations Training in Ohio to lead training activities for the Operations team. You will oversee instructors, audit classes, and ensure customer satisfaction while promoting a safe workplace.

The role emphasizes QMS training, 7S adherence, and continuous improvement through data-driven reporting. A degree plus 2 years in a leadership capacity are preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Ability to adhere to the 7S program.
• Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the department and its instructors in training members of the Operations team.
• Attend and audit new hire classes; follow up with department supervisors on customer satisfaction.
• Handle Quality Management System (QMS) floor training using Floor Training Tracker.
• Conduct needs assessments with department supervisors; evaluate training materials and suggest improvements.
• Serve as a training instructor when necessary.
• Generate special reports from the Employee Training Database and timekeeping system.
• Organize and maintain training records, digitize paper records, and ensure Records Retention Matrix compliance.
