Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor at our Ohio facility. The role centers on directing day-to-day activities across a multi-shift operation, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliable production performance.

You will manage labor and equipment use, coordinate maintenance scheduling, and guide up to 30 direct reports. Strong leadership and communication are essential in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience leading large teams and coordinating multi-shift operations.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the activities of a larger operations team including tasks, projects and production plans.
Hire, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily activities of all team members within the assigned area of responsibility.
Facilitate good communication and ongoing follow-up on issues that require attention.
Ensures efficient use of labor and equipment.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department on all necessary scheduled and preventative maintenance requirements to ensure efficient operations and to minimize downtime.
Performs basic resource scheduling activities.
This position will be responsible for up to 30 direct reports.
