Flik Hospitality Group is hiring an on-call Senior Catering Captain at Tesla in Austin, TX. The role oversees the Catering Department during events, prepares and serves food, and may drive a truck to deliver meals and beverages to functions under the Catering Director.

Ideal candidates have catering captain or operations leadership experience, a valid driver’s license may be required, and must obtain relevant food safety or alcohol permits where state law requires. On-call schedule may vary.

Qualifications

• Previous catering captain or operations leadership experience required.
• A valid driver's license may be required. Must have or obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department staff and assists in performance reviews.
• Determines workload from catering orders and coordinates setup with function group leaders.
• Delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions and returns equipment.
• Maintains sanitation and proper food temperatures; ensures tidy work area.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relays concerns to supervisor.
