Job summary

The Lead Office LPN at CHKDHS coordinates and directs workflow of designated service personnel to support safe, efficient patient care in a clinic setting. Reports to the designated manager.

Essential duties include planning and organizing services, working with physicians, providing patient care and staff education to uphold high nursing standards. Requires LPN license, CPR readiness, and 3–5 years’ progressive nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• CPR training within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct workflow of designated service personnel to support safe and efficient patient care.
• Plan, develop and organize services and activities to support medical practices.
• Work in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the practice physician(s).
• Perform a wide variety of patient care activities and staff education.
