Job summary

Twenty Technologies seeks an exceptionally skilled Offensive Cyber Research Engineer for an in-office role in Arlington, VA. You will lead development of advanced attack path frameworks, mentor engineers, and guide strategic technical initiatives leveraging DNEA/EA experience and adversary emulation.

The role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and collaboration with government customers to advance offensive cyber capabilities for the United States and allies.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of threat research, offensive cyber operations, and software development.
• Expert-level operational cyber security experience in DNEA, EA, red team or threat hunting.
• Demonstrated leadership mentoring offensive cyber engineers and guiding research initiatives.
• Deep expertise in MITRE ATT&CK with adversary TTPs across multiple tactics.
• Experience with offensive toolchains: C2, payloads, evasion, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of attack path frameworks emulating APT behaviors.
• Establish standards for offensive tool development and secure coding practices.
• Develop PoCs and tools advancing offensive cyber capabilities.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical planning.
• Collaborate with government customers to translate feedback into requirements.
