Job summary

Tropicana Brands Group USA in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Off-Shift Site Technical Advisor to lead maintenance and production support on the 3pm–11pm shift. You will mentor frontline technicians, coordinate with area supervisors, and drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems, guide root-cause analyses, and ensure CMMS usage while prioritizing resources to minimize downtime and maintain product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
• A minimum of 5 years of operations & maintenance experience preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated technical experience in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of utilities and/or production equipment.
• Understanding of PLC programming preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in Bradenton.
• Travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for off-shift production and maintenance activities.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for front line employees and coordination with external support.
• Coordinate with shift leaders to communicate priorities and actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis of issues.
• Develop technical capabilities of supervisors and technicians.
• Prioritize and balance technical resources for maximum value to the business.
• Support equipment reliability initiatives to maximize production uptime.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work requests and maintenance tasks.
• Lead change while minimizing impact on personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance in off-shift operations.
• Maintain regular attendance and on-site presence on the plant floor.
