Job summary

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a full-time employed position on the island of O‘ahu. The role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric anesthesia care, leading a care-team with CRNAs, and coordinating care for high-risk obstetric cases in a tertiary setting.

You will participate in call coverage, contribute to safety and quality initiatives, and practice evidence-based medicine while supporting a busy hospital environment in Honolulu.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Board Eligible / Board Certified or Board Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric patients including labor analgesia and cesarean delivery anesthesia
• Lead and collaborate with CRNAs in a care-team model for safe, efficient anesthesia services
• Manage high-risk obstetric cases and coordinate with obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, and neonatal teams
• Participate in call coverage and provide urgent/emergent obstetric anesthesia services
• Contribute to departmental quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives
• Practice evidence-based medicine while adapting to a busy tertiary care environment
