Job summary

Meadow Falls of Conneaut is seeking an experienced Lead Nursing Aide to join our care team. You will mentor aides, oversee daily living activities, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure compassionate, high-quality resident care.

This role requires at least 1 year in long-term care, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and on-call coverage with a bonus when needed. You will help document care, train staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
• On-call availability with on-call bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Nursing Aides, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and services
• Assist with the supervision of daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming residents
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure a positive and welcoming environment
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care and services
• Provide education and support to Nursing Aides on care procedures, policies, and protocols
• Monitor aides charting, weights, vitals
