Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking a Lead Provider (NP or PA) to lead our Mt. Pleasant urgent care team. This full-time role offers $70 per hour, 12-hour shifts, and a path to leadership through regular training.

You will supervise clinic operations, conduct monthly staff meetings, and ensure adherence to protocols while delivering high-quality patient care. Texas license and board certification required, with DEA, DOT/NRCME as noted.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with Texas license (or ability to obtain)
• Current national board certification and BLS
• Active DEA registration
• DOT/NRCME certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire (cost covered)
• At least two years of urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine experience
• Leadership, supervisory, or charge experience preferred

• Lead your clinic and drive improvements in patient care and operations
• Run monthly staff meetings to maintain culture and address concerns
• Ensure team adherence to protocols and SOPs for smooth clinic operations

Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

8 AM–8 PM with rotating Saturdays, 8 AM–4 PM

What You'll Do

As a provider at HealthCARE Express, you’ll care for patients of all ages, treating a wide variety of illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Your day will include evaluating patients, performing examinations and minor procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications when appropriate.

• Lead your clinic and help make the changes that improve patient care and clinic operations
• Run monthly staff meetings to make sure your team is happy, the culture stays positive, and any concerns reach the Medical Director or the right department head
• Hold your team accountable for following our protocols and SOPs so the clinic runs smoothly
• Join a weekly call with the other clinic leads and our Chief Culture Officer

What We're Looking For
