Fox Chase Cancer Center, part of the Temple University Health System, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the ICU & Surgical Step Down unit. You will plan, direct, and evaluate both clinical and administrative activities on the unit, with ultimate staff oversight in the Nurse Manager’s absence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, oncology leadership experience, and New York State? (note: PA licensure is specified in the description) Basic Life Support and PA RN license; MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school is required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health care field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit.
• In the absence of the Nurse Manager, assumes ultimate responsibility for staff oversight and patient care on the unit.
• Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in performance.
• Ensures staffing patterns provide optimal delivery of nursing services.
