Ideal candidates hold a Kansas RN license with at least 3 years of nursing experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and are willing to work a flexible 24/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Kansas.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Supervision experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for transporting clients.
• Eligibility for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing.
• Must be at least 21 years old and 3 years older than the oldest resident.
• Must work in-office and collaborate on a flexible 24/7 schedule with facility administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nurse provides oversight and treatment planning for the physical well‑being of children and adolescents in residential care.
• Complete nursing assessments and manage medication orders.
• Coordinate health appointments and ensure compliant documentation.
• Educate children and families about care and collaborate with a trauma‑informed team.
• Support continuous learning and professional development.
