Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 100% FTE, day shift position. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting with potential responsibilities in leading imaging tasks.

On-site work with possible days at another UW Health location. Required credentials include ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and an Illinois license.

Qualifications

  • Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program or two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures as part of patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications
  • Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a recognized military nuclear medicine technology training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required
  • MustprovidecopyofHSdiplomaorequivalent,orhighestlevelofcompleteddegreeobtained. Required
Work Experience
  • Experience as a hospital nuclear medicine technologist. Required
  • Two years of clinical experience. Required
  • Experience in a lead or supervisor position in medical imaging. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or current NMTCB certification. Required
  • CPR/BLS certification. within 90 Days Required
  • Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
