This position is full-time, hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote), with travel up to 10%. The compensation range for US postings is $155,000 to $185,000 plus comprehensive benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from an accredited institution.
• Typically ten years of experience in an engineering role.
• Advanced degrees may substitute years of experience.
• Experience in reactor core design, radiation shielding, and nuclear materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, analysis, and evaluation in assigned projects using sound engineering principles and standards.
• Lead execution of core tasks with some independent judgment.
• Provide guidance to junior team members in core tasks.
• Lead small groups of engineers to deliver high quality work on time and within budget.
• Collaborate in planning, scheduling, and organizing detailed engineering phases.
• Collaborate in oversight of internal or external design teams.
• Assess customer needs and capture related requirements and functions.
• Execute assignments with clear objectives using specifications and interfaces.
• Recommend system design alterations to improve quality from multiple perspectives.
• Lead reviews and presentations for design reviews with clients and internal teams.
• Organize engineering efforts across disciplines with various stakeholders.
• Maintain professional demeanor in all communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
