Job summary

Sensata is seeking a Test Engineer in Thousand Oaks, CA, to lead test design, validation, and equipment development for new products. You will interface with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management, ensuring product quality, reliability and manufacturing readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, and experience with data acquisition, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of test methods and equipment.
• Design test fixtures and procedures for new products.
• Coordinate labor, schedules, and equipment for testing.
• Ensure compliance with GLP/GMP/GCP where applicable.
• Set parameters and test customer samples.
