Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – NodeJS to provide technical leadership and delivery for healthcare enterprise-grade solutions. You will define, develop, test, analyze, and deliver software programs and applications, collaborating with architecture teams and third‑party vendors.

You’ll lead others in research, design, documentation, and project lifecycles, while driving best practices in NodeJS, microservices, and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise with NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ExpressJS.
• Experience leading enterprise projects or teams preferred.
• Willingness to work on-call and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and architects to conceptualize software programs.
• Lead defect triage and ensure timely resolution across teams.
• Design, run, and monitor tests to correct errors and improve quality.
• Document system requirements and test cases with stakeholders and teams.
