Sinclair Inc. seeks an Executive Producer to oversee daily newscasts and special projects, ensuring fairness, balance and accuracy. The role leads by example, coordinating with producers and reporters on coverage and daily selection.

As newsroom leader, you will guide staff, manage breaking news situations, and collaborate with News Directors to plan segments, while maintaining high journalistic standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience producing in a television news environment or equivalent.
• Strong writing skills with a proven track record for getting results on initiatives.
• College degree in Journalism or related field preferred.
• Commitment to journalistic standards and ethics.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily newscasts to ensure fairness, balance and accuracy.
• Supervise producers and reporters, review scripts, and provide feedback.
• Manage newsroom and handle breaking news situations to empower audiences.
• Collaborate with News Directors and station managers to create special segments.
• Planning and overseeing continuity into upcoming newscasts.
• Produce newscasts on occasions when a fill-in producer is needed.
