Job summary

Pipedex Plumbing & Drains in Spartanburg and Greenville, SC area is seeking an experienced New Construction Plumber to join our team. You will install and oversee plumbing systems in new residential builds, follow SC codes, and ensure clean, professional installations.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of new construction plumbing, experience with PVC, PEX, tubs/showers, read tape measures, and work safely as part of a crew. We value punctuality, craftsmanship, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of new construction plumbing experience.
• Residential plumbing installation knowledge.
• Working knowledge of South Carolina plumbing code requirements.
• Experience installing PVC drain/vent systems.
• Experience installing PEX water piping.
• Experience installing tubs and showers.
• Ability to read tape measure accurately.
• Ability to operate drills, saws, hand tools safely.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good craftsmanship, dependability, and willingness to learn Pipedex standards.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems in new residential construction
• Install PVC drain, waste, and vent piping
• Install PEX water lines
• Install tubs and shower units
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install plumbing piping
• Drill and properly locate holes for plumbing installations
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Use common plumbing and construction tools safely
• Follow plumbing plans and job specifications
• Follow South Carolina plumbing code requirements and applicable local requirements
• Properly support and secure piping
• Maintain clean, organized, professional-looking installations
• Keep the job site clean and organized
• Identify installation problems and communicate them to the project manager or supervisor
• Follow company safety procedures and construction-site safety requirements
• Work independently when required and work well as part of a crew
