Job summary

WMC-North Region seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine to join and help develop a growing Neuromuscular Medicine Program in the North Region within a larger academic health system.

The role emphasizes clinical practice, program development, and opportunities for teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, with involvement in clinical research and emerging therapies.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine and/or Clinical Neurophysiology.
• Experience with EMG/NCS.
• Eligible for Medical Licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neuromuscular consultation and longitudinal care.
• Perform and interpret EMG and nerve conduction studies.
• Develop subspecialty neuromuscular clinics based on regional needs.
• Shared inpatient neuromuscular consultation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with neuromuscular specialists across the health system.
