Job summary

Transamerica’s Enterprise Technology division seeks a Lead Network Engineer to run day‑to‑day network operations across data center, campus, wireless, and cloud connectivity, ensuring reliable service and strong incident, change, and problem management.

You will lead a team, mentor engineers, coordinate changes with cross‑functional teams, and partner with security and service desk to deliver resilient networks in a hybrid, three‑days‑in‑office Denver setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Five+ years of enterprise network engineering/operations experience.
• Experience leading others (people leadership).
• Strong change control and incident management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot in multi-vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of network engineers/technicians.
• Hands-on network engineering for complex troubleshooting and deployment.
• Own day-to-day operational execution for network services.
• Oversee network changes with risk assessment and documentation.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain network documentation and runbooks.
• Coordinate with security, server, service desk, and application teams.
• Support vendor engagement and manage service quality.
