Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a strong .NET Full Stack Lead Developer in the United States to drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-ready solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with architects, engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define blueprints and guide technical execution.

The role is based on-site in Alpharetta, GA and Parsippany, NJ, with a clear focus on engineering excellence and secure delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of dependency injection, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure SSO and secure application integration.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality governance.
• Experience with MSTest or similar testing frameworks.
• Ability to lead technical design discussions and guide development teams through implementation and delivery.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and quality standards within enterprise software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design for .NET applications and cloud topologies.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across full stack development and integration patterns.
• Drive AI-based solutioning and support agent-based application development.
• Partner with DevOps to define code build, test, security, and deployment via CI/CD.
• Promote secure coding, compliance readiness, and high-quality delivery.
• Support MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring where applicable.
