Job summary

Mindlance Inc. in Union, NJ seeks a Senior Software Engineer to maintain and extend enterprise-grade ASP.NET/VB.NET applications, modernizing legacy code and ensuring scalable cloud deployments in Azure.

You will design server-side logic, optimize SQL Server databases, participate in code reviews, write tests, and collaborate across product, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficient in C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, MVC, ASP.NET.
• Experience with frontend tech: Typescript, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server and data access patterns.
• Cloud familiarity with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Consult on broad, high-impact software initiatives.
• Maintain and support enterprise-level legacy apps in .NET stack.
• Analyze and enhance existing architecture and codebase.
• Develop user-facing components and server-side logic.
• Design, optimize and maintain SQL Server databases and queries.
• Troubleshoot advanced production issues and provide RCA.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (Azure).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure security and performance standards.
• Create unit/integration tests and document designs.
