Placements24 is seeking a Lead Nail Technician & Nail Artist for a renowned beauty salon in George, Western Cape. The role blends hands-on nail artistry with leadership, mentoring junior technicians, and expanding service offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a professional Nail Technician with a strong portfolio of nail art.
• Certification or qualification in nail technology.
• Proven ability to perform advanced nail services, including extensions and intricate art.
• Excellent understanding of nail health, hygiene standards.
• Leadership potential or supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy salon.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, and nail art.
• Lead and inspire a team of nail technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and introduce new nail designs, techniques, and service offerings.
• Conduct client consultations to understand preferences and advise on nail care.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene and sterilization protocols for all equipment and tools.
• Manage inventory of nail products, polishes, and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Train and mentor junior nail technicians, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Maintain detailed client records, including service history and design preferences.
• Stay abreast of nail trends, technologies, and industry innovations.
• Contribute to the overall positive client experience and ambience of the salon.
