Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Municipal Lead to oversee municipal engineering projects from planning to maintenance. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with a strong civil engineering background and proven leadership skills, based in Milwaukee with hybrid work options.

You will mentor engineers, design using Civil3D and AutoCAD, coordinate with departments and stakeholders, prepare reports and proposals, and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of municipal engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a project-management role.
• Proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians on municipal projects from planning through maintenance.
• Design and review plans using Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors, and stakeholders to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement efficiency improvements in municipal engineering services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing municipal engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.


• Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.


• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.


• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
