Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation seeks a Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily projects in the Tampa area and beyond. The candidate will manage field teams, schedule development, and subcontractor performance to ensure timely delivery within budget while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidate has extensive multifamily construction experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 8-20 years of construction management and/or craft supervisor experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture degree, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide strong customer service.
• Willingness to travel on-site to locations nationally.
• Knowledge of all phases of multifamily construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects.
• Experience with ground-up multifamily projects (garden and podium style).
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Manage subcontractor performance relationships.
• Ensure timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.
• Prepare project documentation for coordination and site management.
• Implement and enforce Quality Control/Quality Assurance programs.
• Promote a safe, injury-free job site through company safety initiatives.
