Job summary

The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Product Line Engineering Manager who will own motorcycle scope, design, and development, and align requirements with customer expectations. This onsite role is based in Wauwatosa, WI and requires strong leadership of the PLT.

You will coach and empower the Program Leadership Team to ensure delivery of great motorcycles and customer riding experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Master's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Broad motorcycle development experience and knowledge.
• Demonstrated success leading and delivering high impact motorcycle projects with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define program scope in partnership with Motorcycle Management, Design Studio, Engineering Vehicle & Systems teams.
• Document How We Win and Table Stakes requirements defining critical product attributes.
• Lead and prioritize development activities across the team to meet planned progress.
• Lead day-to-day program operations and use metrics to drive risk mitigation.
• Ensure robust program communication up and down the leadership chain.
